Training Objectives

To allow board members to understand why their PS should introduce MSME lending, how MSME lending can help the PS to fulfill its mission, vision and how it can fit to the PS values and how board members’ implication is essential to a successful implementation of MSME methodology implementation.

Expected Results

Increase the credit market segments of the PS/MFI Become an Advisor, Not Just a Lender, for SMEs Segment the Client Base and Create Personalized

  • Establish the proper governance system in the PS with the support of members, office bearers and staffs
  • Re-visit the PS Mission, Vision and Values and adapt them to the competitive finance market environment
  • Apply necessary changes for compatibility with the MSME lending process
  • Increase board member solidarity and reduce the internal conflicts
  • Increase advocacy.

Training Methodology

3 training sessions and several mentoring and coaching activities to bind with day-to-day activities of PSs. The package offered is therefore made of classroom trainings and follow-up sessions (Mentoring/Coaching)
